How it works? Quite simple. 12 green LEDs are used to display hours and the remaining 60 blue led to display minutes. However these smart people have missed one thing, there is not such time as 5:60. I guess they couldn't make a 71 LED watch, it wouldn't have the same effect, so they made a watch using 72 LEDs, which also show the date.
The dimensions of the watch are 55 x 31 x 12 mm thus these 55 mm will stand out on a thin wrist. The timepiece has a stainless steel band and there is also a button for displaying the time and date. There is also the option to display the time every 15 minutes, if you are in a hurry and appeal to your watch every 15 minutes to cheer you up and tell that everything's OK. Use it and have fun with it. One thing is for sure: you will be noticed, right after your wrist has been noticed.
This one is for you, Matrix fans. Actually, it has nothing in common with the cult blockbuster trilogy "Matrix" where Neo saves the real world from the virtual one. The only thing in common is the word 'matrix'. Why is it 'matrix'? Maybe because there are so many LEDs on the face of the watch, I don't know. But one thing I know: almost every friend that I have shown it to has said "Where can I get one of these?"
If I were given 72 colored LEDs I could do a lot of things: I could decorate my room in a groovy glowing cave or place 2 eyes on 36 photos. But this watch proves that there are smart and ingenious people. They've made a 72 LED watch.
